The Clinch-Powell River watershed flows through the counties of Tazewell, Russell, Wise, Scott, and Lee in Southwest Virginia before opening up into the Tennessee River. These rivers are major tributaries to the Tennessee River. Both the Clinch and Powell River have a unique history and story which are explored within this blog.
